Your account
Once you are signed in, your name at the top right opens the Account menu. It has two pages: what qc.ebu.io knows about you, and which e-mails it sends you.
My data
My data is a read-only summary of the data qc.ebu.io holds about your account. It exists so you can see that information without having to ask for it, which is your right of access under the GDPR.
It shows:
- Profile - your name, e-mail address, company and last sign-in. These come from your EBU account rather than being set here; see Signing in.
- Privacy - whether you have acknowledged the privacy notice, and the date of the notice you acknowledged.
- Activity summary - how many Test Material downloads are recorded against your account.
- Your contributions - how many QC Item versions, Templates and Test Material versions you have authored.
- Recent audit-trail entries - the ten most recent actions recorded against your account.
The page changes nothing. To correct your name, address or company, update your EBU account; to have your account anonymised, e-mail tech@ebu.ch.

Notification settings
Notifications controls the e-mail qc.ebu.io sends you. Everything is off until you turn it on.
- A master switch. While it is off you receive no notification e-mail of any kind, whatever the settings below say.
- A scope: every QC Item, or only the Items you are watching. "Watching only" is the default and is usually what you want.
- Which status changes you care about, from the list in Status. New accounts start with "published" only, which is the transition most people want to hear about.
- Lead-editor settings, which apply only to the QC Items you are the Lead Editor of, and are separate from the scope above so that owning an Item never depends on remembering to watch it. You can be notified about any change to your Items, about user discussions on them, about editor discussions on them, and about being assigned or removed as Lead Editor.
