Note that the following features are NOT available to every user (see User roles).
Parameter values deletion (Workflow managers)
The pre-defined values for the Parameters (Types, Representations, Units, Ranges):
- Are versioned.
- Have an official/unofficial flag
- Cannot be deleted, unless no QC Items are referencing them
Trying to delete a Parameter value of which any version is still in use by any QC Item version, will fail. A list is shown to help locate which QC Items use the values.
Further note that although the Parameters are versioned, for future publications/increasing consistency, effectively only the latest version of a Parameter value is relevant; In other words: the latest versions of all QC Items should ideally only refer to the latest and official versions of each Parameter value!
References and Sources (Workflow managers)
Workflow managers maintain the reference list: they edit entries (every change is a new version), make versions official, and run the scan of the Sources (Managed data > References > Sources) with the button Scan all active sources now. Layers <> IDs (Workflow managers)
Items > Item Validators > Layers <> IDs lists the latest version of every QC Item whose EBU QC ID letter does not match its Layer (see Layers), and every Item still on a retired Layer. It shows the expected letter, the status and who saved the version last, can be filtered by status and Layer, and can be downloaded as CSV. It changes nothing, for anyone who opens it: the fix is decided per Item, usually by correcting the Layer in a new version.
Together with Item check rules (open to every editor, see Item checks), it sits under Items > Item Validators in the menu.
Organisations (Workflow managers)
Under Administration in the menu (Organisations and Representatives), Workflow managers create, rename, delete and merge Organisations, set their e-mail domains and company names, and manage their representatives and the requests to become one. See Who manages organisations and representatives.
